Erie County restaurant inspections for Aug. 8-15, 2024

At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded Aug. 8 through Thursday.

2 critical violations

Toreros Mexican Restaurant, 1940 Douglas Parkway, Summit Township. (Ready-to-eat food not datemarked; Ice machine not clean to site or touch.) Aug. 13

1 critical violation

The Vine Bar and Grille, 11884 E. Main Road, North East Township. (French-fry cutter had slimy old potato residue.) Also three noncritical violations. Tuesday

The Original Breakfast Place, 2340 E. 38th St. (Employee observed washing dirty dishes did not wash hands before handling clean dishes.) Also one noncritical violation. Tuesday

China Jade, 14 E. Main St., North East Boro. Wednesday

Country Fair, 347 E. 12th St. Monday

F&F Poke Bowl and Ramen, 6831 Peach St. Aug. 9

Larry’s Tater Shak, 11479 Hill Road, Venango Township. Aug. 8
