According to police, the pregnant victim said her ex-boyfriend and his family members had physically attacked her. During the altercation, the ex-boyfriend stole her cell phone and took her 8-month-old child, investigators said.

The victim said that her ex-boyfriend was not the child’s father and has no parental rights to the child.

Overland Park police contacted Kansas City police, who helped find the suspects and the child. They were all at a home in Kansas City.

All three suspects were arrested the next day, and the child was located safe and taken to a nearby hospital for an evaluation.
