ST. PETERSBURG, Fla – A family dog saved a child from likely being taken from a home in St. Pete, according to an affidavit.
The affidavit says that Ron Lee Klein Jr. entered the family’s fenced-in backyard and grabbed a child’s arm.
That’s when the family’s dog confronted the suspect and started barking, according to the document.
Someone then came for the child and started yelling as they ran towards the suspect.

Klein fled and St. Pete Police located him in the area and arrested him.
The affidavit says that Klein is facing attempted kidnapping and trespassing charges.
