Feltz’s Dairy Store in Stevens Point celebrates 2025 NFL draft with this year’s corn maze

STEVENS POINT – A love of football and the Green Bay Packers led to this year’s path through the Feltz’s Dairy Store corn maze.

Jake Feltz said the Wisconsin Farm Bureau and the Green Bay Packers were looking for farms that host fall activities to help promote the 2025 draft when they reached out to Feltz’s Dairy Store.

“We are all football and Packer fans so thought it was a no-brainer when we had an opportunity to help participate in the promotion of the upcoming 2025 draft,” Feltz said.

Throughout September, the Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association and Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s Gather Wisconsin hosted ceremonies at four farms in Wisconsin. Farms in Chilton, Ripon and Bonduel also accepted the opportunity to highlight the draft.

Feltz said the farms did not work together on plans or designs. Feltz’s Dairy Store mapped out the space it had in its field and then worked with MazePlay, a company that specializes in designing corn mazes. Feltz said they began designing the maze in January, starting with the draft logo, then filling the space with other football images.

The family plants the corn in April or May, as the weather cooperates, then works throughout the summer to clean and maintain the maze before it opens for guests to wander through.

More about the maze

The Feltz’s Dairy Store corn maze opened Sept. 21 and will run through Oct. 26 at 5796 Porter Drive in Stevens Point.

Guests can choose from three separate mazes for the first time. Feltz said the short maze has been great for families with small children. The medium maze has been a nice option, as well, he said, taking about 20-30 minutes for guests to complete. Those looking for a challenge can choose the large maze.

According to the website, the small maze is a half-mile, while the medium maze is 1.8 miles, and the large maze is 3 miles. Scavenger hunt locations are set up in each maze with drawings to win prizes for completing the hunts.

Tickets for the corn maze will be $9 for children ages 3 to 12 and $12 for those 13 years and older, and they will be sold until one hour before the mazes close. Maze hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays.

Feltz’s Dairy Store will host a haunted corn maze at Feltz’s Fear Farm, running for just five nights on Oct. 18, 19, 25, 26 and 31. Feltz said the farm has improved its haunted offerings each year and is excited to debut a few new things in this year’s haunted maze.
