Fidelity is putting advisors on notice that it is cracking down on the use of third-party technology to access and manage investors’ retirement accounts held at the company.
The move comes in response to the emergence of fintech applications that use investor’s login credentials to allow their advisors to gain access to their retirement accounts to more actively manage those funds.
