A fast-moving fire erupted in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 7, as the Santa Ana Winds arrived in the area, bringing what officials called an “extreme” risk of fire.
Footage captured by live wildfire-monitoring cameras shows the blaze spreading through the area and a dense plume of smoke rising over the Santa Monica Mountains.
