Fort Worth police officers involved in shooting on west side Monday night

Fort Worth police were involved in a shooting on the city’s southwest side Monday night, the department said in a social media post.

Police did not immediately say whether anyone was injured.

A police spokesperson is expected to release more information to the media at a news conference near the corner of Inwood Road and Selkirk Drive.

The Star-Telegram has a reporter at the scene. The shooting appears to have occurred on Selkirk Drive. Investigating officers could be seen knocking on doors and looking into a back yard nearby.
