Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest presents Women of Distinction

Feb. 25—MIDLAND — Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest is proud to present Women of Distinction, an evening dedicated to celebrating extraordinary women in our community. The event will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the prestigious Petroleum Club of Midland, 501 W. Wall Street, for an unforgettable evening of celebration and inspiration.

In addition to recognizing these remarkable women, attendees have the special opportunity to honor a woman in their lives. With a $100 donation, the name of a woman you wish to celebrate will be proudly displayed in the program and recognized during the event.

For more than 30 years, Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest has recognized more than 300 women for their leadership, outstanding contributions to the community, and for exemplifying the Girl Scout mission of courage, confidence, and character in making the world a better place.

Proceeds from the Women of Distinction event will directly support Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest, helping to provide scholarships, fund the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE), and enhance their four priority program areas:

— Life Skills

— STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)

— Outdoors
