Gisele Bündchen left her social media followers stunned by the photos she shared from a recent visit to a special place that some fans described as “heaven on Earth.”
As the supermodel revealed in her Instagram carousel on Sunday, July 28, she recently visited the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park along Brazil’s north Atlantic coast. The picturesque spot, known among some as “the sheets” because of the way it looks like bedsheets from above, features lagoons made of rainwater that are tucked between white sand dunes.
Bündchen, 44, began her post with an image of herself reclining on one of those dunes, her right leg bent at the knee as she pressed her back against the sand and rested her arms above her head. She wore a one-piece black swimsuit for the snapshot, which showed one of the lagoons stretching between the dune she was relaxing on and another nearby.
Next, a video filmed inside a helicopter captured the gorgeous view from above, providing a a sense of how far the dunes and lagoons stretch. Bündchen later included a photo of herself wearing a red string bikini while inside one of the lagoons, her hair wet after a recent dip beneath the surface as she stood in blue water that reached above her knees. Her 10-part post concluded with a view of the national park at sunset.
“I’ve always dreamed of visiting Lençóis Maranhenses,” Bündchen shared in her Instagram caption. “Brazil is so beautiful!”
Fans were in full agreement with the beauty of the “incredible” spot.
