Gyan Kumari Chhantyal Nepali Congress Lawmaker dies at age 66

Nepali Congress lawmaker Gyan Kumari Chhantyal died on Wednesday morning in Nepal, Kathmandu she was 63 years old.

Kumari was getting treatment at Sahid Gangalal National Heart Centre in Kathmandu where she last breathed today. she underwent heart surgery last Sunday after three valves blocked in her heart. Gyan was born in Tamankhola rural Municipality-5 of Baglung. Her funeral rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat at 1 pm today her son said. Kumari was elected the lawmaker of the main opposition Nepali Congress under proportional representation from Baglung. Chhantyal is survived by her husband, two daughters, and two sons.
