A family vacationing at a resort in the Khao Yai forest in northeastern Thailand decided to have a barbecue meal on August 11, in defiance of the campsite’s strict rules. Predictably, the delicious smell attracted the local wildlife as a herd of elephants emerged from the forest, eager for a tasty meal. But with no food in sight, the elephants clearly vented their frustration.
