An investigation is underway after a four-month-old was found unresponsive in a hotel in Saugus.
According to the Essex County District Attorney’s office, Saugus Police officers were called to the Extended Stay America Suites located at 832 Broadway in Saugus on Friday for a well-being check.
Upon arrival, officers found a four-month-old infant unresponsive. First responders immediately began life-saving measures and transported the infant to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased, the DA says.

Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office and Saugus Police are investigating the incident.
