Israel targeted on Tuesday 10 legal and illegal crossings between Syria and Lebanon in two separate attacks, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported.
The al-Arida in the Tartous countryside was targeted for the first time along with the al-Dabusiyah and Joseyeh in the Homs countryside, SOHR told dpa.
Unofficial crossings in Wadi Khaled in the Homs countryside, and three bridges on the al-Kabir river separating the Syrian and Lebanese borders were also hit. The attacks killed two members of the regime forces at the Dabousieh crossing, a preliminary report showed.

“The Israelis are trying to cut all bridges Hezbollah uses to smuggle weapons from Syria and to tell Hezbollah we are watching every move you will make.” SOHR head Rami Abdel Rahman head told dpa.
Just prior to this, Israeli warplanes targeted three sites on the border between Syria and Lebanon. The strikes targeted illegal crossings in the area of the outskirts of Qusaya and the outskirts of Nabi Sheet, near the cities of Serghaya and al-Zabadani in the Damascus countryside. No immediate information about casualties was available.
