Israel says it has killed two Hamas October 7 fighters

The Israeli military said on Wednesday that it had killed two people in the north of the Gaza Strip who were involved in the Hamas massacre in Israel more than 14 months ago.

One of them led an attack on an Israeli military post near the border with the Gaza Strip, in which 14 Israeli soldiers were killed, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) posted on X.

It said the man had also attacked Israeli troops in the Gaza Strip during the subsequent war.

The Israeli Air Force killed him in a former school building in Gaza City, the IDF said.

In a separate strike on Jabalia, the military also killed the head of Hamas’ paragliding unit, who directed the militia’s advance into Israeli territory on October 7 from the air – during which some fighters entered Israel by paraglider.

The IDF did not say exactly when the two men were killed.

Israel’s attacks on Hamas are currently focused on the north of the Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian reports, Israeli attacks often cause many civilian casualties. The Israeli military has repeatedly emphasized that it takes measures to reduce the risk to civilians.
