Good Morning Britain was halted for a breaking news announcement after Donald Trump shared a bizarre AI-generated video showcasing what appears to be his vision of Gaza under his proposed plan.
Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley woke up the nation with the latest headlines from across the globe on Wednesday (February 26) including the bizarre footage posted by the US President.
The video, which the 78-year-old posted without comment on his Truth Social social media platform, shows the war-ravaged territory before a caption appears: “2025… What’s Next?”. It then goes on to show the area transformed into a Middle Eastern paradise with exotic beaches, Dubai-style skyscrapers, luxury yachts and people partying.
After playing the video to ITV viewers, Susanna and Richard shared their reactions to the clip with Kevin Maguire and Andrew Pierce, with Andrew branding the video “jaw-dropping” and Kevin saying: “Trump shouldn’t be in the White House.”

Andrew went out to point out: “He’s won an election” before Susanna interrupted saying: “Yes he’s won an election but he’s posting this. There is devastation and death in Gaza.”
Kevin added: “47,000 people have been killed and a vast majority are women and children who weren’t fighters and he’s doing that.”
Susanna and Richard later spoke to Defence Secretary John Healey MP who admitted that he hadn’t seen the video before his GMB interview so was unable to share his views.
The controversial footage includes a “Trump Gaza” tower and a gigantic, golden statue of the US president – with miniature versions on sale in a souvenir shop.
A child is also shown walking in a street, holding a huge, golden balloon of the president’s head. The video also features the world leader dancing with a scantily clad belly dancer in a bar – and sunbathing and sipping cocktails by a hotel resort pool with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Elon Musk also appears in the footage several times: sitting on a beach eating humous with flatbreads as bearded belly dancers perform on the sand, and then is shown to be throwing dollar bills in the air for people.
A song written for the video also plays in the background with the lyrics: “Donald’s coming to set you free, bringing the light for all to see, no more tunnels, no more fear: Trump Gaza’s finally here.
“Trump Gaza’s shining bright, golden future, a brand new life. Feast and dance the deal is done, Trump Gaza number one.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am
