This Morning viewers were left fairly frustrated during the latest instalment as they accused the ITV show of “ruining” BBC’s The Traitors.
The popular daytime programme was back on Friday (January 10) with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary at the helm. As well as discussing the latest political and entertainment headlines, later on in the show Alison and Dermot were joined by contestants Kas and Tyler who are stars of The Traitors.
The new series of the tense psychological competition has kept fans hooked as the players try to work out the culprits attempting to sabotage the game and hopefully snatch the ultimate monetary prize.
But although the interview went smoothly, with Tyler and Kas admitting their surprise at being voted off the show by their suspicious co-stars, fans at home felt that This Morning continued to let the cat out of the bag as they interviewed another set of axed stars.

Sharing their grievances on social media site X, one fan wrote: “#thismorning and @itv do like to ruin programmes for people by getting evictees on their shows next day before people have has a chance to watch on catch up next day. There was a time when @itv would never mention @bbc shows now its all they do.”
Adding to their complaint, they wrote: “I know, obviously you canât wait ages for everyone to catch up but some people work, have to go out, are busy and canât watch in real time and catch up next day. Itv and BBC never used to mention other programmes, now we have Strictly professionals etc doing segments on it.”
Another viewer penned: “FFS, the obsession this show has with ‘The Traitors’ is unreal. I bet if it was an ITV show they would hardly mention it.”

A third fan shared their thoughts on the fact ITV are promoting programmes that air on other platforms and wrote: “ITV continuing to heavily promote BBC shows.”
During their chat with Kas and Tyler, host Alison quizzed Kas on whether he felt isolated during his time on the new series, as his fellow contestants strongly believed he was a Traitor.
Taking it in his stride, Kas said: “It was pretty tough. But I understood the nature of the game.”
This Morning airs Mondays-Fridays from 10am on ITV1
