The NFL was represented on Time magazine’s recent 100 Most Influential People of 2025 list, as Jalen Hurts was recognized under the “icons” section.
Hall of Fame shortstop Derek Jeter penned the entry for Hurts, highlighting the quarterback’s attitude in handling both the highs and lows of his career.
“Sometimes people win, then exhale. Jalen is not exhaling. He’s embracing the next challenge,” Jeter wrote. “Win or lose, Jalen’s resilience and determination offer all of us something to admire.”
