JPMorgan says authorities are investigating the Jeju Air 737-800 crash in South Korea which killed 179 people, including the National Transportation Safety Board, Federal Aviation Administration, and Boeing (BA). The aircraft that crashed was delivered to Ryanair in 2009 and has been leased to Jeju since 2017, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The 737NG family, which includes the 737-800, was first delivered in 1997, has a strong safety record and has been one of the most prevalent aircraft in the global fleet, contends JPMorgan. Shares of Boeing are down 3% to $175.00 in premarket trading.
