Dec. 23—A woman complained about an ongoing issue of an unattached “tattoo trailer” parking on the street in her neighborhood. A Kalispell Police Department officer told the trailer owner about city laws on unattached trailers. The owner alleged he was in the process of reattaching the trailer and complained about wanting to sue the homeowner’s association. The officer advised him that this could be done through civil court.
A woman claimed she smelled cocaine and methamphetamine after someone brought a package into the building and was concerned it contained drugs.
Security footage allegedly showed an approximately 18-year-old woman hitting a truck window in the back of a man’s business but did not gain entry or cause damage.

A woman called officers reportedly checking to see if a vehicle her boyfriend gave to her as a gift was reported stolen after threatening to do so because he was upset she was not getting back together with him. She said there was no title, no license plates on it and she had no way to verify she was the owner other than having the vehicle identification number.
A frustrated tenant reportedly wanted the police to make his landlord fix a broken shower handle that required pliers to turn on, faster than the 10 days he was told it would take before it could be fixed. He said he and his roommate were both disabled; he hadn’t been able to shower in five days and he already spoke to Adult Protection Services. Officers provided him with resources and said it was a civil matter to take up with the landlord or an attorney.
Someone allegedly thought a bald man in his 40s who was driving a Ranger side-by-side with a plow in the front was “on something” after he almost hit a pedestrian, which they said they had a video of.
A property owner called officers alleging that someone cut down a portion of fencing.

A man reportedly texted someone about posting online that they were a pedophile and had been taking photos of their residence. They called officers asking about the process of obtaining a temporary restraining order.
Snowflake the cat is still missing and the owner asked officers to search for it, sharing suspicions that another resident’s son took the feline. Officers said animal control was not available at the time and officers could not provide that service without a more detailed location where it might be.
A bluish-green colored minivan was reportedly driving all over the road on the bypass.
A woman allegedly wanted to report her car as stolen during the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 p.m. and requested an officer “to keep an eye on the car” during that time because things had gone missing or were misplaced only to show up later. Officers said they couldn’t do that. She also told officers about other concerns, including hearing voices through the car speakers and a missing cat she believed was dead and wanted that investigated too.
