PANAMA CITY BEACH — Despite weather delays, the 2025 Gulf Coast Jam is still slated to hold its opening day on May 29.
According to a post on the concert’s Facebook page, parking lots and will call are tentatively scheduled to open at 4 p.m. on May 29. Early entry will then open at 5:45 p.m., with all gates opening at 6 p.m.
Jordan Davis is scheduled to take the stage at 6:55 p.m., the entire 2026 concert lineup will be announced at 8:20 p.m., and headliner Sam Hunt will perform at 8:45 p.m.
“Bring your rain gear,” the post reads. “All this depends on the weather behaving itself. If it changes, the plan changes. We’ll let you know.”

The May 29 performances of at least four artists have been canceled for the 2025 Gulf Coast Jam.
In another May 29 morning Facebook post, event officials said “another round of heavy storms” forecast for the area led them to cancel Thursday performances from NEEDTOBREATHE, Restless Road, Angie K and Jason Byrd.
“We will have more information after this afternoon’s storm but the plan … is to open gates in the early evening and to give you a great time,” the post reads. “This is subject to changes in the weather and keeping our guests, crew and artists safe.”
As of about 11:20 a.m. the post already had about 160 reactions, more than 150 comments and almost 60 shares.
“Our team is working hard to open Gulf Coast Jam and bring you some amazing music tonight,” the post reads.
9:30 a.m.: Weather delay
The start of a popular country music festival on the Beach was delayed for poor weather conditions.
In a May 29 morning Facebook post, officials with the Gulf Coast Jam announced the concert and its parking “will not open until further notice.” The four-day event is slated to run May 29 to June 1 at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach.
“After meeting with city officials and the National Weather Service, we are at standstill due to the concerns for our patrons, staff and artists,” the post reads. “Will will continue to monitor the weather and update you as we get more information.”
As of about 9:30 a.m. the original post already had 260 reactions, about 130 comments and more than 160 shares.

“We are watching things closely and diligently,” the post reads. “Please let your jammer crew know and share so other jammer crews will know. Stay safe and stay as dry as you can.”
