Longmont police notes: Handgun stolen from vehicle

Aug. 5—-Longmont police officers responded to the 00 block of 21st Avenue on Thursday for a vehicle break-in in which a handgun and numerous items were stolen. A report was taken.

—Longmont police on Thursday received a report of a man displaying a firearm in his vehicle. One man was named as the victim in the case and was interviewed.

—On Thursday, Longmont police received a report of motor vehicle theft and theft in the 3500 block of Bluestem Avenue. There are no suspects at this time.

—A Longmont officer conducting a traffic stop Friday in the area of 21st Avenue and Collyer Street found two women with active warrants. They were both arrested and transported to jail.
