Major freeways and roads closed due to wildfires across L.A. County

(KTLA) — Major roads and freeways across Los Angeles County are closed Wednesday as firefighters continue to battle wildfires across the region.

As of 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Caltrans announced that the following stretches are closed.

Stay home and off the roads, officials warn during Southern California wildfires

Palisades Fire (Near Southeast of Palisades Drive)

  • Pacific Coast Highway (State Route 1)

  • Pacific Coast Highway (State Route 1) closed southbound at Cross Creek Road

  • Pacific Coast Highway (State Route 1) closed northbound at McClure Tunnel

  • 10 freeway westbound traffic diverted at Lincoln Boulevard

  • Topanga Canyon Boulevard (State Route 27) closed in both directions between PCH and Mulholland Drive

Eaton Fire (Near Altadena Drive and Midwick Drive, Altadena/Pasadena)

  • Angles Crest Highway (State Route 27) closed 2.2 miles north of I-210 to 300 feet west of Upper Big Tujunga Road

No fire is at this location, but San Gabriel Canyon Road (State Route 39) is open only to residents

Hurst Fire (Near Diamond Road in Sylmar)

  • 210 freeway westbound lanes are closed at Roxford Street. All traffic is diverted there

  • 5 freeway northbound truck lanes are closed to I-210 and State Route 14

Woodley Fire (North Woodley Avenue near the Sepulveda Basin)

Officials have not shared any road closures in connection to this fire. However, surface streets around the fire are impacted.
