Harris Rosen, founder of Rosen Hotels & Resorts: Rosen helped build one of the largest locally based and privately owned hotel companies. He was also known for his wide-ranging philanthropic work. Rosen died the morning of Nov. 25 at the age of 85.
Rosen is set to receive a honorary doctorate degree from the University of Central Florida.
