A wounded 28-year-old man was found outside his vehicle Monday morning on Interstate 95 in Laurel, prompting all northbound lanes to close near Maryland Route 198, police said.
The man, who had been shot at around 4:30 a.m., was taken to Shock Trauma, Maryland State Police said on social media.
The Maryland State Highway Administration said there were “major traffic issues” on I-95 as lanes remained closed between Exit 31A for the Intercounty Connector and Exit 33A for Route 198, also known as Sandy Spring Road.
