A man has been charged in the death of a 60-year-old woman, according to Fort Worth jail records.
Gary Howery, 42, was arrested Saturday on a manslaughter charge. Police began investigating after responding to a call about a domestic disturbance Saturday at an apartment complex in the 9200 block of Colt Street, according to a police report.
The victim was identified as Rhonda Howery, according to police. The manner and cause of her death have not yet been determined, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
An obituary for the victim’s late husband, Kenneth Howery, identifies Gary Howery as her son.
Police have not yet responded to the Star-Telegram’s request for information surrounding the arrest.
