YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A York County man charged in a Thursday standoff threatened to kill anyone who wasn’t related to him, police said in charging documents.
According to the charges filed by State Police in York, Brian Price, 43, of East Berlin, said “I will kill anyone that’s not related to me,” while pointing the gun at the woman inside a home in Washington Township.
After learning from a school staff member about the incident, Troopers went to the home. The victim told State Police that she and Price got into an argument that eventually led to him getting a gun and threatening her.
A perimeter was then set up around the home, and Price eventually came out after a couple of hours. He was then taken into custody.
Due to Price’s past criminal history, he is not legally allowed to own a firearm. State Police say he pled guilty to a drug charge in 2012.
