A man died and a woman was seriously injured in a shooting at a Tempe apartment complex Thursday night.
At about 8:30 p.m., Tempe police responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex near Washington Street and North Center Parkway, police said. When they arrived, they found a man and a woman who were both shot.
Police said the woman was taken to a hospital. She was still in critical condition as of Friday afternoon, according to a Tempe Police Department spokesperson.

According to police, the man died on location and was identified as 24-year-old Anthony Carlos.
No further information was available, police said.
