A man has died of his injuries after a shooting Saturday in Portsmouth, according to police.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Hamilton Avenue, a residential area near Detroit Street, around 2:24 a.m.
At the scene, police found a man with fatal gunshot wounds.
The shooting remains under investigation, and anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Portsmouth Police Department.
