There is little doubt that Max Domi is the most prolific user of social media on the Maple Leafs roster. Domi was such an early adopter that somehow he was able to procure the handle “max” on Instagram. This summer, he’s frequently posted to his socials, whether vacationing in Italy or sharing his gym workouts.
Domi joined the Maple Leafs last summer and made an impression in his first season in Toronto, scoring nine goals and adding 38 assists in 80 games. The versatile forward signed a four-year extension worth $15 million this summer and then shared a clip on his Instagram where his face was superimposed onto the Jordan Belfort character in the 2013 film ‘The Wolf of Wall Street.
Domi finished last season on a line with Auston Matthews and Tyler Bertuzzi, the latter departed Toronto to sign a four-year, $22 million contract with the Chicago Blackhawks.
With a perceived lack of depth at the forward spot, Domi could be counted on to help add to what the Leafs lost in Bertuzzi on the wing, or possibly return in a center spot where he also thrived before moving to Matthews’ line late last season.
