Massive fire in Saudi Arabia's Dhahran Mall

Jeddah: A fire broke out at Al-Dhahran (Dhahran Mall), a well-known and busy commercial center in the eastern province of Al-Sharqiya in Saudi Arabia.

According to foreign media reports, the fire broke out near Gate Nos. 10, 11, and 12 of Dhahran Mall. Several people posted video clips of the incident on the social networking site Twitter, which showed thick clouds of smoke rising from the crash site. A local civil defense official said the fire broke out in the insulators on the roof of the mall, but no injuries were reported so far.
