Noah Lippeatt was on his way to see his family on Father’s Day when he died in a motorcycle crash, Mason City Schools said in a Facebook post.
The Mason grad was a Marine Lance Corporal serving in Washington D.C. A memorial visitation and celebration of Lippeatt’s life is planned for Saturday.
Lippeatt graduated from Mason High School in 2021. He went on to wrestle at Campbellsville University from 2021-2022 and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2023.
His time in service was spent in South Carolina for basic training and he was later stationed at Camp Geiger, then Chesapeake, and finally Washington, D.C., according to his obituary.
Faith was an important part of Lippeatt’s life, as well.
“Noah took much pride in serving the United States Marine Corps, but his utmost pursuit was to be a servant of Christ, reflecting his love, compassion, and grace in everyone he met,” his obituary states.
A memorial visitation is set for 4 p.m. Saturday, July 6 at Liberty Heights Church in Liberty Township. That will be followed with a celebration of life at 5 p.m.
His family asks those who attend the services to wear brightly colored clothing to honor his vibrant personality.
