A person who heard it called 911 and recorded video of two people running away from the crime scene and a suspected getaway car turning the corner.

Pasadena Police Department said officers arrived within four minutes, but it was too late to save Williams.

“I miss him,” his little girl, Nahari told Channel 2′s Courtney Francisco.

Her grandmother and mother allowed her to share her feelings in hopes that it could help another family with a grieving child.

“It feels like, just, a big monster just took a bite out of me,” Nahari said.

Her grandmother, Williams’ mother, Dawnielle Williams, said, “She will always remember Christmas Eve is when this happened to her father.”

She said the homicide has been so stressful on her family, her son’s father’s health deteriorated so much, that he died before Chazz’s funeral.

Now, she and her other children are preparing to fly back to Texas for another funeral this Saturday.

“They lost a brother and a father,” Williams said. “It’s extremely difficult for them. They were all extremely close.”

The family released doves at his funeral, hoping to send a message of peace.

“Gun violence has to stop,” Williams said.

She is pleading for someone to turn in the killers.

“No tip is too small,” said Williams.

Police are offering a reward to the person who helps officers make an arrest.
