Michael Bolton has shared a photo with his family, following his brain cancer diagnosis and surgery.
Bolton turned 72 on Wednesday, and shared a sweet picture with his children and grandchildren on Facebook.
The Grammy-winner singer was surrounded by birthday decorations, and was tucking in to a piece of cake.
“Spending my birthday filled with love and gratitude,” the caption accompanying the pic read. “Wishing you all the same, today & everyday!”
Bolton, is a father to three adult daughters—Isa, Holly, and Taryn, whom he shares with ex-wife Maureen McGuire— and Holly and Tayrn were in the photo.

Earlier this month, he announced he was cancelling his upcoming London show as he continues to “heal from surgery”.
Bolton has cancelled a string of concerts since his diagnosis in late 2023 and impressed upon fans that his recovery was of the utmost importance.
The rockstar was expected to perform at the O2 Arena in London on July 5, with Bonnie Tyler joining him as a special guest.
He thanked his fans for their ongoing support and reiterated that everyone with tickets to the show will be “automatically refunded”.
He added: “Thank you for all your love and positive energy over this past year. I am so grateful to have the most supportive fans in the world.”
Announcing his brain cancer diagnosis in January 2024, he said: “I want to start by wishing everyone a very happy and healthy new year!
“I also want to share that 2023 ended up presenting me with some very unexpected challenges.

“Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumour, which required immediate surgery.
“Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success.”
Two months later, he shared a health update on Facebook, stating he was “healing well” and improving with each day.
Michael Bolton first rose to fame in the mid-1980s. Although he initially started his career in the 1970s as a hard rock singer, his breakthrough came with the release of his 1987 album The Hunger.
It was his 1989 album Soul Provider that truly catapulted him into mainstream success, featuring hits like Soul Provider and How Am I Supposed to Live Without You.
