With beautiful beaches, stunning scenery and amazing weather, Majorca is known for being a popular holiday destination with UK tourists. But the Spanish island has attracted numerous celebrity visitors over the years, and now Michelle Keegan has given her seal approval for Majorca.
The Stockport-born actress recently enjoyed a holiday there. She posted several snaps on Instagram of her sunny getaway including a photo of her wearing a relaxed shirt dress as she strolled down a street in the sun.
Former Coronation Street star Michelle captioned the post: “Just a couple of days in our fave place before the Christmas build up begins”. One image appeared to show husband Mark Wright inside a coffee shop, and several photos showed off Majorca’s golden beaches.

It’s not the first time the couple have holidayed in Majorca, in fact they even own a holiday apartment out there which Mark has renovated for the couple. Although at the time he faced some challenges with the renovation, he did share a video which showed the sleek interior and the glorious sea views it has to offer.
As well as their pre-Christmas getaway, the couple, both 37, visited Deia, a small village on the northwest coast of the island earlier this year. It’s known as one of the prettiest villages on the island and has been a magnet for celebrities throughout the decades.
The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and David Bowie are some of the famous faces said to have stayed there, while Beyoncé and Kate Moss have been spotted there in recent years. Richard Branson loved it so much he purchased a hotel there in the 80s and his son Sam even named his daughter after the village.
Although Michelle didn’t reveal where they were staying during this visit, she did post a photo of Forn des Teatre, a famous bakery and patisserie in Palma. The shop is known for its art nouveau exterior and is one of the most photographed buildings in the city. If Michelle did buy anything from the bakery, it’s likely it would be a classic Majorca ensaimada pastry which the shop specialises in.
Those looking to head to Michelle and Mark’s ‘fave place’ can easily do so from Manchester Airport, with Skyscanner showing direct flights from Manchester to Majorca in December from as little as £21 one way, with returns available from £25 (although it’s important to note that this doesn’t include seat allocation or baggage allowance).
