Milwaukee police investigating homicide Saturday evening, victim was beaten

A 58-year-old died Saturday evening in the area of North 24th Place and West Locust Street, according to Milwaukee police.

The victim had been beaten and died of their injuries at the scene.

The homicide happened about 6:20 p.m. on the 2900 block of North 24th Place, according to police.

Investigators are seeking an unknown suspect.
