Madonna claims Trump administration is ‘dismantling freedoms we have been fighting for’
On Monday, Trump signed a controversial executive order titled Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness, which restricts transgender people from enlisting and serving openly in the military, rescinding an order made by former President Joe Biden in 2021. In addition, Trump has rolled back on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in the armed services amid his first week back in the White House. Taking to X on Tuesday, Madonna posted a selfie showing her with a stoic expression, and penned, “It’s so sad to watch our new Government slowly dismantling all the Freedoms we have been fighting for…”
