MoDOT to hold public meeting for upcoming project

Jan. 12—The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting to discuss the Route FF intersection project in Buchanan County.

There will be an extension added to U.S. Route 169 and Buchanan County Route FF to make turning easier for tractor-trailers.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the MoDOT Northwest District Office, 3602 N. Belt Highway, and invites the community to ask questions and share their opinions.

The public can attend from 4 to 6 p.m. to get more information. For those who cannot attend on Jan. 22, there will be two more public input sessions through Feb. 5.

There will be no formal presentation.

Information about the project can be found on MoDOT’s website at www.modot.org/us-route-169-and-route-ff-intersection-improvements-buchanan. Comments can be mailed to Buchanan County Route FF Intersection Improvement Project, Missouri Department of Transportation, 3602 N. Belt Highway, St. Joseph, MO 64506, and must be postmarked by Wednesday, Feb. 5.
