We might all be feeling the pinch after Christmas, but that isn’t stopping savvy shoppers picking up a bargain or two.
With the festivities well and truly over, stores are now slashing the prices of their festive gifts as they clear the shelves for new stock.
Among them is M&S where there are huge reductions on their much-loved gift tins.

One of its most popular items for 2024 was the Santa’s Workshop Musical Light Up Tin and the retailer has now reduced it from £10 to just £1.
One shopper shared a photo of the tin she snapped up and attracted dozens of comments, including ‘Oh wow!!! I should’ve waited’ and ‘Omg, these are the nicest biscuits ever!!!!’.

A third shopper said: “We had this as a gift. Beautiful. 2 bags of lovely biscuits inside.”
The tin, with two large bags of star-shaped all-butter chocolate chip cookies inside, has a switch on the top to turn on the light and a small handle on the side to turn and create the sound.
With mirrors inside, it creates the illusion of elves at work and you hear the banging of a hammer as they’re busy making toys.
It’s not the only M&S gift that’s being sold off either.
The Magical Snowing Forest – the world’s first snowing chocolate box with milk and blond truffles – has also been reduced to £1, along with the All Butter Shortbread Projection Tree.
The tin cars with fruity jelly sweets inside and the sleighs with a bag of chocolate presents are down to 50p.
