Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by 5 wickets

Karachi: In a nail-biter match Multan Sultans won by 5 wickets in his second PSL 7 match. Earlier, Lahore Qalandars scored 206 runs in 20 overs by losing 5 wickets.

 

PSL 7 Match summary:

 

The 150-run partnership match between Multan Sultans openers Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood made the victory possible for their team. Shan scored 83 runs, and Rizwan scored 69 runs. Sohaib Maqsood made 20 runs, in the last over 16 runs as needed. Khushdil shah played a sensible knock by hitting 4,4,4,6 in the first four deliveries to Haris Rauf led Multan to win the second match.

For Lahore Qalandars, captain Shaheen Shah Afridi took out with 3 wickets while Haris Rauf and Rashid Khan took one wicket each.

Fakhr Zaman, batting for the Qalandars, played a smoky inning of 76 runs while Kamran Ghulam (43) and Mohammad Hafeez (16) were all out.

In the closing moments of the innings, Rashid Khan batted aggressively and scored 17 runs off 4 balls.

From Multan Sultans, Imran Tahir, Khushdil Shah, David Ville, Shahnawaz Dahani and Ehsanullah took one wicket each. Shan Masood becomes the player of the match.
