Jacob Trouba lit a fire into the New York Rangers early on in their Saturday afternoon game against the Montreal Canadiens.
In the first period, Trouba fought Josh Anderson as the two were throwing punches at each other for well over 30 seconds.
Trouba almost went down a couple of times, but was able to stay on his feet and power through some heavy blows from Anderson.
It was arguably the best fight of this NHL season thus far based on the long duration and how many hard-hitting punches were thrown.
Ultimately, Trouba tumbled onto the ice, although the message to his team was already sent and fully received.
