Many Stark County students are getting an extended holiday break.
As the snow falls across Stark County today, several school districts have canceled classes. School officials cited the weather and road conditions as the reasons.
The National Weather Service in Cleveland said the area is expected to get around an inch of snow today, with a high reaching near 28 degrees.
At 5:30 a.m., conditions at the Akron-Canton Airport were snowy with a temperature of 18 degrees. The wind chill makes it feel like 4 degrees.

Snow showers will continue tonight and into Tuesday adding less than half an inch, the weather service predicts.
