Northport police are investigating an early Friday morning traffic accident on Lurleen B. Wallace Boulevard.
The crash, described as major, caused a road closure on Lurleen B. Wallace Boulevard in Northport, according to a traffic report from the Alabama Department of Transportation.
Northport police are diverting traffic both northbound and southbound off the Lurleen B Wallace Bridge onto Fifth Street.
