(Reuters) – New York Mayor Eric Adams and his campaign in July received a new round of federal grand jury subpoenas as part of a long-running corruption investigation, the New York Times reported on Thursday, citing unnamed sources with knowledge of the matter.
Federal investigators are probing whether Adams’ 2021 election campaign team conspired with a Brooklyn construction company and the Turkish government to illegally obtain foreign donations, the New York Times has reported in the past.
