Oklahoma TikToker Hayden Ryel dies in crash after announcing hurricane relief trip to FL

An Oklahoma man known for his TikTok videos died Wednesday in a crash after announcing he would be driving to Florida to help with hurricane relief.

Hayden Ryel, 20, of Hennessey, Oklahoma, was killed in a two-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 70 between Martinsville and Marshall, Illinois, according to WTWO News in Farmersburg, Indiana.

Ryel was a member of the Dover Fire Department, according to its Facebook post announcing his death.

“It is with great sadness we announce the passing of one of our own,” the department wrote. “Hayden will be missed greatly. Our hearts go out to his family and our community in this difficult time. Go rest high on that mountain buddy we got it from here!”

Ryel had a TikTok account dedicated to sharing content about his truck, with more than 50,000 followers.
