A man who police say blocked traffic, then circled a car and shot at it several times, was arrested Tuesday and faces two counts of aggravated assault.
Brannon Michael Griffin Jr., 20, of Gulfport, was arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting at 6:42 p.m. Tuesday in the 10300 block of Old Highway 49.
Police say a car behind Griffin honked once because he was blocking traffic at a green light. The honk âreportedly enragedâ Griffin, police said in a news release, and he ignored the horn and kept blocking the road.

The victim tried to drive around Griffin but he moved forward to stop them from passing him, the news release said. The victim eventually drove around Griffin, but Griffin followed the car to a parking lot and began circling the victimâs parked car.
Griffin leaned from the driverâs window with a gun and fired multiple times, striking the victimâs car, before he fled, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Police arrested Griffin and booked him into the Harrison County jail early Wednesday on a $500,000 bond.
Police are asking anyone with information on the drive by shooting to call the Gulfport Police Department at 228-868-5959 or Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers at 877-787-5898.
