Charges could be filed in connection with the recent investigation into the weekslong disappearance of a Franklin girl, who was found safe over the weekend, officials announced Monday.
Jazlyn Rodrigues, 15, left her home on Woodview Way in Franklin on Oct. 10 and was reunited with her family after she was found at a residence in Hopkinton on Saturday, according to the Franklin Police Department.
“It appears that Jazlyn had adult assistance throughout the entirety of her disappearance and nothing indicates that she was abducted or kept against her will, police said in a statement. “Detectives are still investigating and charges may be filed at a later date for those who assisted in harboring her.”

Police noted that detectives believe Rodrigues left home on her own and that a tip led them to the Hopkinton home.
During the search, Rodrigues’ mother, Jessica Negron, said, “I am desperate to find my daughter and I am begging for your help…We miss you, we love you, and we won’t stop looking for you. We just want you home.”
The New England State Police Information Network, Hopkinton police, and Mansfield police assisted Franklin police in the search for Rodrigues.
There were no additional details immediately available.
