Sep. 27—A Goshen man has died from critical injuries sustained in a high-speed vehicle crash in Ligonier.
Justin Yoder, 37, of Goshen, was a front seat passenger in a Nissan Rouge that was struck at high speed by a Mercedes passenger car driven by Ethan Aza on Sept. 14, according to Indiana State Police.
As a result, Aza was arrested and taken into custody by Indiana State Troopers from the Fort Wayne and Bremen posts Thursday at his home in Cromwell. He was transported to Noble County Jail and booked on charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle causing death, a Level 3 felony; operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death, a Level 4 felony; operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury, a Level 4 felony; resisting law enforcement with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury, a Level 5 felony; two counts of resisting law enforcement causing bodily injury, a Level 6 felony; and operating a vehicle without ever having received a license with priors, a Class A misdemeanor.

—Goshen police received a report of a possible child molestation on Thursday.
—A 47-year-old woman reported to Elkhart County deputies at 4 p.m. Wednesday an indecent exposure at the Pipewort Nature Preserve in Bristol.

A 34-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies at 1:28 a.m. Friday that he was involved in a hit-and-run while driving his motorcycle near Adams Street and Woodlawn Avenue in Elkhart.

—Skypoint Transit, 2525 Kercher Road, reported to Goshen police at 11:29 a.m. Thursday the theft of a travel trailer.
—An 89-year-old woman reported to Goshen police at 3:16 p.m. Thursday the theft of a lawn ornament from the 1800 block of Bashor Road.
—A 59-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies that on Wednesday someone stole a 2015 Hyundai Sonata from near C.R. 2 and C.R. 43 in Middlebury.
—A 61-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies that on May 7 someone stole money from a home in the 20000 block of C.R. 19 in Goshen.
—A 54-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies that around 3 a.m. Thursday someone entered his Chevrolet Equinox and a Volkswagen in the 30000 block of Villa Drive and took items.
—A 33-year-old woman reported to Elkhart County deputies that at 7:30 p.m. Thursday that someone stole a cell phone from the 11000 block of C.R. 42 in Millersburg.
—A 50-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies that between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday someone stole a 20-foot Southwest Cargo trailer containing construction equipment from the 54000 block of C.R. 8.
—A 48-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies at 7 a.m. Thursday that someone entered his locked vehicle in the 50000 block of Stonecutter Drive in Granger and stole an iPad.
—A 72-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies that at 3:42 a.m. Wednesday someone stole from a mailbox in the 57000 block of C.R. 100 in Elkhart.
—A 69-year-old man reported to Elkhart County deputies that between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday someone stole a political yard sign from the 68000 block of C.R. 31 in Goshen.
