Dec. 25—A 1-year-old boy, found unconscious and not breathing, was revived following quick action by Goshen police and paramedics at 2:47 a.m. Monday.
A report from Goshen police stated that officers and paramedics were called to the 700 block of East Kercher Road to aid the boy and performed life-saving measures. He was taken to the hospital and then airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne for further treatment. No further information on his condition was made available.
Attempted murder, battery investigated

Elkhart County deputies are investigating an attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon. Not much information was released in the report other than the investigation began at 9:13 p.m. Friday at 56292 Burr St., Elkhart.
ARRESTS
* A 37-year-old Goshen woman was arrested by Goshen police at 1:56 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated — endangerment following a traffic stop at Lincoln Avenue and Second Street. The woman was taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
* A 26-year-old Cicero, Illinois, woman was arrested by Goshen police at 2:09 a.m. Wednesday at Plymouth Avenue and Eighth Street following a traffic stop. The driver was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and there were three children in the vehicle at the time, police reported. She was taken to the Elkhart County Jail.

* A 27-year-old Goshen woman was arrested at 3:17 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of domestic battery in the presence of a minor. Goshen police stated in their report that officers were called to the 1300 block of Sturgeon Point for a fight in progress. A 49-year-old Goshen man had a minor complaint of pain and visible injuries, but not medical attention was required, police said. The woman was taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
DEATH INVESTIGATION
A 35-year-old Elkhart woman was found dead inside her home in the 22000 block of Pine Arbor Drive. The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

* A 55-year-old Goshen man reported to Goshen police at 1:20 p.m. Monday he was bitten by the family dog at his Emerson Street home and suffered an injury to his face. He was treated at Goshen Hospital.
BATTERY
* A 34-year-old Goshen man told Goshen police at 1:33 a.m. Wednesday he was battered by a person he did not know in the 100 block of South Eighth Street. The Goshen man was taken to Goshen Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
* Four people were injured during a fight in the 300 block of Mossberg Lane at 12:31 a.m. Tuesday, according to Goshen police. The injured included an 18-year-old Goshen man who had pain to his face; a 21-year-old Milford woman who had pain to her face; a 56-year-old Goshen woman with pain to her chest; and a 56-year-old Goshen man who had pain to his face. All said they would seek medical attention at a later time. The suspect, a 26-year-old Goshen man, had left the scene prior to police arriving. Charges were sent to the prosecutor’s office, police said.

BURGLARY
A 40-year-old Goshen woman reported a burglary to Goshen police at 8:51 p.m. Monday in the 2900 block of West Wilden Avenue.
HARASSMENT
* Goshen police received a call from another police agency saying a Goshen resident has been sending threatening messages to a social media figure, who does not believe they are credible but wanted a report on file.
* A 40-year-old Goshen woman reported to Goshen police at 7:18 p.m. Sunday she is being harassed online by a person she knows.
