Officers were earlier this week searching for a ‘group of men’ after the animal was hurled off a high-rise in Greenvale Avenue, Sheldon, shortly before 4.30pm on Tuesday, February 24.

A video circulating online showed the males, dressed in tracksuits, leaving the scene of where the dog was found dead.
A screengrab of the short clip was shared by West Midlands Police in a fresh appeal for information but the males’ faces were obscured.
In a new update, police told BirminghamLive that enquiries were continuing.
No arrests have yet been made.
