Kensington Palace has confirmed that Prince William is set to embark on a solo engagement in South Wales on September 10, following his recent reunion with Prince Harry. The Prince of Wales’s itinerary includes a visit to Llanelli where he will drop by Swiss Valley Community Primary School to engage with students participating in the Urdd Eisteddfod literature festival.
His Royal Highness will also pay a visit to the headquarters of the Wales Air Ambulance, a charity under his patronage, to meet with the staff and crew. Additionally, Prince William is scheduled to visit Parc y Scarlets to acknowledge the achievements of Welsh women in rugby, meeting with the national female team who have successfully qualified for the 2025 World Cup.
This announcement comes after Prince William and his brother Prince Harry were seen together at the funeral of their mother’s brother-in-law, Lord Robert Fellowes, which took place at St Mary’s Church in Snettisham, Norfolk, reports the Express.

A church warden from St Mary’s, preferring anonymity, shared with the BBC: “It was wonderful that both princes were able to attend their uncle’s memorial service yesterday at St Mary’s Church. The service was a lovely family occasion celebrating the life of such a special man.”
“Many friends were also present and also many members of the St Mary’s Church family.”
Rumours have emerged that Princes William and Harry “kept their distance” during a service and reportedly did not exchange words.
The Duke of Sussex maintains a tenuous connection with the Royal household following his high-profile departure in 2020. However, Prince Harry paid a visit to King Charles in February and again in May of this year.
Speculation has been rife in recent times about the possibility of Harry contemplating a move back to the UK or even rejoining the Royal Family. However, sources close to the situation told the BBC that Harry is not entertaining such plans, emphasising ongoing security concerns for his family in Britain.
